The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is a good value smartphone, but it does lack 5G and WiFi 6. It does come with an IR blaster. This budget smartphone has the same resolution and display size as its predecessor, but has an OLED display, which is a huge feature differentiation in this price range. Here are some reasons to buy the Redmi Note 10 Pro. We’ll take a closer look at the phone’s main features. redmi note 10 pro
The first thing you’ll notice about the Redmi Note 10 Pro is its price. As of this writing, it’s priced at just under $100. The phone’s specifications haven’t changed much since we reviewed it in May, but it’s still the cheapest smartphone we’ve ever tested. It runs MIUI 12 on Android 11.5, although Redmi has since updated the phone’s software to MIUI 12.5. The company supplied us with our review unit, but we’ve updated the text to include the Note 10’s stablemates and competitors.
Another positive trait of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is its display. With a 6.7-inch screen, the Redmi Note 10 Pro delivers excellent performance and looks good at the same time. The display is set into a plastic sub-frame and larger mid-frame of the phone, with an extra millimeter of black bezel surrounding it. The display is rounded at the edges, with a small chin and forehead, as well as a centered punch-hole notch for a selfie camera.
Xiaomi also made sure that the Redmi Note 10 Pro’s display was sharp and responsive. The AMOLED display on the Redmi Note 10 Pro is 120 Hz, which is the same as the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. A 120Hz refresh rate is significantly higher than the 60 Hz refresh rate on Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S21 Ultra, which is priced at $1,200. Furthermore, the device’s display is well calibrated and delivers low color deviations when used in “Saturated” and “Standard” profiles. Those two profiles are set by default and provide full reproduction of DCI-P3 color space. The difference in Delta E is smaller, but it’s a great indicator of how the Redmi Note 10 Pro performs in these areas.
Xiaomi has introduced a new series of smartphones called the Redmi Note series. The company’s Redmi Note 10 series has swept India with its smartphones, bringing high-end features to affordable prices. One of the most interesting models is the Redmi Note 10 Pro. Several variants are available, each adjusting the specs to suit different price ranges. The Note 10 Pro features a 6.67-inch full HD OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Redmi Note 10 Pro has 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The non-5G version is also missing a telephoto lens, which is a reasonable omission given the price. However, the phone’s other features make up for these flaws. If you’re looking for a great value budget phone, Redmi Note 10 Pro is worth considering. We’ll look at some of its benefits below.
